You shouldn't have to navigate the healthcare system alone.
Meet LIORA, an online platform that connects women with real advocates who provide support before, during, and after doctor's appointments so they feel heard, prepared, and empowered throughout their care journey.
Match with a women's health advocate (think: nurse, social worker, med student), become one,
or simply stay in the loop.

It's time for a better healthcare experience for women.
LIORA advocates are here whether you’re struggling to get a diagnosis, uncertain about a treatment plan, tired of being bounced around the system and starting over, or simply leaving appointments feeling anxious, dismissed or merely confused.
How LIORA Works
Before your appointment
Connect with your advocate* to map your health journey and plan key goals/questions for your upcoming appointment.
During your appointment
Your advocate joins you virtually to take notes and ask clarifying questions.
After your appointment
Debrief what was said, clarify next steps, and create a care plan that aligns with your goals and needs.
*
You'll be matched with an advocate based on your intake survey.
Our advocates include nurses, social workers, dietitians, physical therapists, psychologists, medical students, and trained peer supporters with lived experience.
LIORA is with you for the long haul.
Your advocate doesn't just show up for one appointment, they stay by your side throughout your care journey.
Advocacy the human way.
Call us old-fashioned, but we believe the best care still comes from human connection. The healthcare system is stretched thin, and while clinicians are trying their best, time constraints and unreimbursed work can leave gaps in support.
At LIORA, the answer isn’t another automated tool. It’s women raising their hands to help other women. Every advocate is a real person, trained and ready to provide empathy, guidance, and understanding.
Meet the Founders
Cousins Courtney and Amanda created LIORA out of shared frustration with feeling dismissed and defeated after too many medical visits.
Together, they're on a mission to build the support they wished they had and change women's healthcare experiences through patient-centered advocacy.
